# Arminius AI

> Arminius AI is a private company AI platform delivered as an on-premise appliance by Arminius IT s.r.o. (Bratislava, Slovakia). It runs the language model, search and OCR inside the customer's network: an AI chat for all employees (Arminius Chat), search over company documents and contracts (Arminius Business), Slovak legislation and case law for law firms (Arminius Legal) and a local coding assistant in VS Code (Arminius Developer). No cloud, no third-party AI APIs; answers cite their sources.

## Key facts
- What exactly do we get? A complete solution: an appliance with the language model, search and OCR, the platform software, configuration, installation in your company and user training. The appliance physically stays with you and needs no cloud services.
- How long does deployment take? Within 2 weeks of signing the contract. For larger configurations hardware delivery may take longer; the date is always stated in the quote.
- Do we need our own server? No. The hardware is part of the delivery and we size it to the number of users and the modules you choose, so there is nothing to buy in advance.
- How many users is it for? From a single user. The solution grows with the number of users and modules; as your company grows it is extended, not replaced.
- Which modules can we choose? The base is Arminius Chat for all employees. You can add Arminius Legal (law and case files), Arminius Business (company documents and contracts) and Arminius Developer (software development) in any combination, also later.
- What is the pricing model? A one-off delivery of hardware and software, with no mandatory monthly fees, no credits and no charges per question or document. Updates, new versions and system management are optional. We state the exact price in the quote, based on the number of users and modules.
- What does our IT need to prepare? Space and power for the appliance, a network connection with a fixed address and a DNS record, and read access to the document storage if you want to search company data. For Active Directory sign-in, also security groups and a service account with read access to the directory. IT receives the exact list before deployment.
- Can the solution connect to our systems? Yes, as a custom project: ERP, DMS, ticketing, databases, other storage and sign-in outside Active Directory. We agree the scope and timeline after a short consultation.
- Does our data leave the company? No. The language model, search and OCR run on the appliance in your network. The solution calls no third-party APIs or cloud models, so documents, questions and answers never leave. This is guaranteed by the architecture, not by a contract.
- Does it work without internet? Yes. Internet is useful for remote management and updates but not required. Without internet, only the Legal module stops receiving new legislation and court decisions.
- Is the AI trained on our documents? No. The model does not change; documents are only indexed on the appliance so that search can find them, and they are cited in answers.
- Is the solution GDPR compliant? It is designed so that personal data stays with you: processing runs on your appliance, with no processor and no transfer to third countries. This makes GDPR obligations easier to meet; compliance of the overall processing is assessed by the controller, that is, your company.
- Who can see which documents? Users sign in with their company account (Active Directory or local accounts). Groups determine which modes and document sources they see. Access is checked on every question, not just in the menu.
- Is usage logged? Yes. Every question, tool used and cited source is logged so that you can review usage. The log stays on the appliance.
- How do I know the AI did not make the answer up? Modes that work over company data and law answer only from what they found and list the file, statute or court decision below the answer. If they find no source, they say so. In the Legal module, sections and case numbers in the answer are checked against the search results.
- Which language does the AI work in? The interface is in Slovak and the model answers in Slovak. It also works with Czech, English and German documents.
- Can we change how the AI answers? Yes. The behaviour of each mode is defined in a prompt that the administrator edits in the admin console, with version history and a test run before going live.
- Which files can users attach? PDF, Word and images including photos and screenshots. Scans and photos are transcribed locally with OCR.
- What support do you provide? Phone and remote support. An SLA and active system management are agreed as needed; on request we also manage the rest of your IT infrastructure.
- Who is behind Arminius AI? Arminius IT s.r.o., based in Bratislava, Slovakia, an IT company with 20 years of experience running servers, networks and business systems on customer premises. We deliver, deploy and maintain the solution.

Regional and district court decisions and Czech law are not included yet.
- How often are the legal sources updated? Daily. The appliance downloads amendments and new decisions of all three courts every day; only a request for a public document goes out, never the firm's data.
- Can it find the version of a statute in force on a given date? Yes. For a question with a date it returns the provision as in force on that day, states when that version was valid and links to Slov-Lex.
- Does Arminius Legal work with our firm's case files? Yes. The archive on the firm's server is connected read-only, including scanned PDFs and older Word formats. The client and case file structure stays as it is, and a cited file opens with one click.
- Can it draft a document? Yes, from your firm's own precedents: it keeps the wording, header and footer, fills in the details from the brief and produces a Word document stating which precedent it came from.
- Does Arminius Legal replace a lawyer? No. It finds legislation, court decisions and the firm's own submissions and analyses an attached contract with quotations and references to legislation. The conclusion and responsibility remain with the lawyer.
- How is attorney-client privilege protected? Everything runs on the appliance in the firm: no provider or third-party interface is involved in processing, and documents, questions and answers never leave the server.

- What does the system do with contracts? Contracts automatically receive metadata: parties, subject and validity. In the chat you can then ask, for example, for contracts with a specific company or by validity.
- How fast does it find a document? Searching an archive of hundreds of thousands of documents takes less than 2 seconds, and the answer names the specific file and its path.
